Scope and controller

This notice describes the processing of personal data connected with the consultation of patrimoniefinanza.com and the active services of Patrimoni e Finanza. Patrimoni e Finanza is a trademark exclusively owned by Dream Generator Limited. The controller and website operator is Dream Generator Limited, Company No. 12077525, 3rd Floor, 207 Regent Street, London W1B 3HH, United Kingdom. For requests relating to personal data, the contact is info@dreamgenerator.co.uk.

The editorial office, with registered office in Largo Montalto n. 7, Palermo, reachable at info@patrimoniefinanza.com, operates on behalf of the controller and is not an autonomous data controller.

Browsing and site operation

Consultation of the site involves the processing of connection data and technical logs: IP address, date and time of requests, requested pages, browser and device data, errors and information necessary for content delivery and security. These data are processed even in the absence of active forms, because they are necessary to provide and protect the service.

The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in ensuring a reliable service and preventing abuse, taking into account the rights of the data subjects. No automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are taken. The technical preferences stored in the browser are described in the Cookie Policy.

The Lovable hosting infrastructure provides native visit statistics, which collect aggregated data such as number of visits, pages viewed, duration, origin, device type and country. When active, these statistics are processed by the infrastructure provider according to its own documentation. The magazine does not use advertising pixels or additional analysis tools added by the editorial team.

Correspondence

When a person writes to the magazine’s or the company’s email addresses, we process the email address, any other contact details and the content or attachments transmitted. The purpose is to manage the request and any editorial or contractual relationships arising from it.

The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures or a contract when the request concerns a relationship with the company or the editorial office, compliance with legal obligations where applicable and, in other cases, the legitimate interest in replying and managing correspondence. Providing the data is optional, but without the necessary contact details it is not possible to reply. Users are asked not to send special categories of data or information about third parties that is not necessary. The submission of a contribution does not imply automatic publication: bylines, rights and conditions are agreed separately.

External services

On pages containing them, YouTube videos, Italpress videos, other external videos (Vimeo, Dailymotion and films uploaded from addresses of other sites) and TradingView quotes are present. These services are loaded only after the reader’s authorisation, given for each service in the Cookie and privacy preferences panel or, for videos, with the button on the individual video; videos in any case require a playback click. The legal basis is consent, which may be withdrawn at any time from the Manage cookie and privacy link in the footer.

TradingView quotes, on the Stocks & Markets and Markets and strategic advice pages, load automatically when the page opens only after authorisation. Loading communicates to the provider the IP address, device data and information necessary to display the quotes, such as the page visited and the instruments viewed. The observed details are described in the Cookie Policy.

Each provider also processes data according to its own notice: Google for YouTube (policies.google.com/privacy), TradingView (tradingview.com/privacy-policy) and Italpress (italpress.com). Italpress news is retrieved by the magazine server and does not involve browser connections from the reader to Italpress; video playback contacts video.italpress.com. Social links or links to other sites lead, after clicking, to autonomous services.

Videos uploaded by the editorial team are served by the magazine itself, start only after clicking and do not involve communications to external providers; they are excluded from consent because they do not involve third parties. If consent to a video category is withdrawn, already opened players in that category stop and new loads require fresh authorisation.

Services not available

Reader accounts, PDF downloads other than the e-book, sending the article by email and personal saving of articles are not operational. The relevant commands indicate that the service is unavailable and do not collect data.

Newsletter

The newsletter “Patrimoni e Finanza — La selezione del mese” is a monthly editorial selection, sent in Italian by decision of the editorial team. To subscribe, email and, optionally, name are required; the subscription becomes active only after confirmation from the link received by email (double confirmation). No account is created and the request concerns only the magazine newsletter: it does not imply consent to commercial communications from Dream Generator Limited or other brands. Newsletter subscription, registration for e-books and proposals via Write for us remain separate processing operations: anyone who downloads an e-book or submits a proposal is not subscribed.

Legal basis: consent of the data subject, which may be withdrawn at any time from the unsubscribe link contained in every email, without access or password. The date of confirmation, version of the notice, interface language and events of unsubscribe, non-delivery or complaint are stored; unsubscribed, undeliverable or spam-reporting addresses are placed on a suppression list that prevents subsequent mailings even in the event of new imports.

Subscribers recovered from the archive of the previous site: only addresses with historical confirmation of subscription and no deletion were imported, preserving the original confirmation date and reference to the proof; historical deletions were entered in the suppression list.

Subscription requires confirmation via the link sent to the indicated address, valid for 48 hours; the confirmation email is sent by the site’s email service. The subscriber list is stored in the magazine system; newsletter emails are sent through Postmark (ActiveCampaign, LLC, United States), which acts as a processor on behalf of the controller and receives, for each mailing, the recipient’s address and the content of the email, with the safeguards for data transfers provided for in the provider’s data processing agreement. Postmark also stores the suppression list (unsubscribes, undeliverable addresses, spam reports) and technical delivery logs. Each email contains a personal unsubscribe link; temporary delivery errors are managed by the provider’s new attempts without excluding the address; permanently invalid addresses are excluded from mailings; unsubscribes and spam reports permanently exclude the address, even in the event of new imports. No measurement of opens and clicks: emails are sent with open and click tracking disabled, without invisible images (pixels) and without rewritten links; links lead directly to the magazine pages. Google Analytics or advertising pixels are not used and no automatic resends are active.

Proposals via Write for us

Anyone proposing a contribution through the Write for us form provides first and last name, email, subject or title and text of the proposal; professional presentation and a DOCX or PDF attachment up to 10 MB are optional. Registration is not required and submission does not imply newsletter subscription.

Purpose and legal basis: to assess the proposal and respond, in performance of measures requested by the data subject and in the editorial team’s legitimate interest in managing correspondence; to prevent automated and repeated submissions, on the basis of the legitimate interest in service security. The proposal and attachment are stored in a reserved archive of the site, accessible only from the protected editorial area. The editorial team receives a notification and the proposer receives an acknowledgment of receipt, sent by Lovable Cloud email service with sender noreply@notify.dreamgenerator.co.uk and replies to info@patrimoniefinanza.com.

Retention: proposals not accepted follow the rule applicable to ordinary correspondence and are automatically deleted 24 months after the last update, together with any attachment. Collaboration agreements and actually published contents are processed separately, for the time necessary to demonstrate authorisations and rights in the contents.

Recipients and providers

Data may be accessible to authorised persons of the company and the editorial office, to technical providers operating on behalf of the controller within the limits of their functions and to authorities in cases provided for by law.

The site is created and distributed with Lovable and Lovable Cloud, which provide hosting, page distribution and database services. Providers of external services (Google for YouTube, Italpress, Vimeo, Dailymotion, sites hosting external films, TradingView) process reader data within the limits described in this notice and in their respective notices.

International transfers

The controller is based in the United Kingdom. The site database is hosted in the AWS eu-west-1 European region (Ireland); page distribution takes place through a global network and not all data, logs and backups are necessarily located in the same region. Providers of external services may also process data outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, according to the safeguards indicated in their respective notices.

Retention

Ordinary correspondence is kept for a maximum of 24 months from the closure of the request or the last significant exchange. Documents necessary to demonstrate publication authorisations and rights in the contents are kept for the period during which such needs persist, with periodic review. Contractual and accounting records are kept for the periods provided for by applicable law. In the event of disputes or controversies, relevant documents may be retained for the time necessary to handle them and protect rights. Retention is reviewed at least annually.

Technical logs of the infrastructure are accessible to the controller for about five days; their overall retention period at the provider depends on the provider’s configuration and does not necessarily coincide with this period. The database is subject to daily backups retained by the provider for about fourteen days; deleted data may remain in backups until they are replaced. The choices stored in the browser have the durations indicated in the Cookie Policy.

Rights and complaints

In the cases and within the limits provided for by applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of the data and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Write to info@dreamgenerator.co.uk: we may ask for proportionate information to verify identity. A reply is normally provided within one month, subject to any lawful extensions and notifications.

You may lodge a complaint with the competent authority, in particular the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali in Italy (garanteprivacy.it) or the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom (ico.org.uk). It is not necessary to contact us before lodging a complaint.

This notice may be updated when services or processing activities change. The date of the version in force is indicated at the top of the page.

E-book request

Anyone requesting an e-book of the magazine (currently “The value before the transaction”, EB01) fills in a form with mandatory email, optional name and language edition. The request does not create an account or a personal area, does not require a password and does not imply newsletter subscription or promotional communications.

Purpose and legal basis: to verify the address and deliver the requested e-book, in performance of the request made by the data subject; to prevent repeated submissions and abuse, on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest.

Data stored: email, name if provided, selected language, date of the request and verification, date of the thank-you email, number of links sent and version of the notice displayed. To limit repeated submissions, a cryptographic fingerprint is recorded for a maximum of 24 hours (not the plain address). Data are stored in the site infrastructure (Lovable Cloud) and accessible only to the authorised editorial team. Verification and thank-you emails are sent through the integrated transactional mail service of Lovable Cloud, from the sender “Patrimoni e Finanza” <noreply@notify.dreamgenerator.co.uk>; replies are addressed to info@patrimoniefinanza.com. The emails do not contain attachments: the thank-you email includes a button giving access to the five editions valid for 24 hours. Retention: registration data are kept for 24 months from the data subject’s last e-book request; automatic system sends and simple visits do not restart the period. Upon expiry, identification data and the related authorisations are automatically deleted, unless legal obligations or documented needs for rights protection apply; only anonymous counts may remain. Unverified requests are deleted after 30 days; technical data of expired links are automatically deleted once a day.
